  HIGH PRAISE to Dr. Bradd Burkhart, his team at Orlando Orthopedic Center Lake Mary and the Physical Therapists there. When I could no longer golf, ride my bike, or barely walk without excruciating bone on bone pain from a totally arthritic knee, I realized a Total Knee Replacement (TKR) was my only option. I Googled Best Ortho Surgeons in Orlando area and the Orlando Orthopedic Center came up. I searched for top Knee Surgeons in the area and Dr. Bradd Burkhart came up among the Best Rated Docs in Orlando area. His video on TKR as outpatient surgery convinced me to make an appointment to explore the outpatient process. Having a total knee replacement is a major surgery. I was skeptical when Dr. Burkhart said that I'd be walking out of the Ambulatory Care section of the hospital on both legs, and that the recovery can be quicker than inpatient surgery. My surgery was done at 8:00 in downtown Orlando. I was back home in Sorrento and eating lunch at 1:00. I won't kid you that you'll have to endure pain in the recovery process - but with proper pain management to enable physical therapy it was much less painful than I expected. Within three weeks I was off all pain medication. And, just six weeks after TKR surgery, I am getting back to golf and bike riding. Thank you Dr. Burkhart for the surgical talent displayed on doing my TKR and thanks to the skilled care provided by the physical therapy ladies at Lake Mary. YOU ALL DESERVE TOP BLOCK RATING!
