  We had a build with Condev that lasted 40 plus monthes. If I had to sum up the experience- it was terrible. I'm not even able to give zero stars. Everything that you wouldn't want in your custom builder = Condev and the Gardners.
  
  Let me sum it up for the person who's considering using the company .
  
  1. Length of the build. 40 plus months is pretty ridiculous even considering that a custom build could take some time. This is directly related to number 2
  
  2. Poor poor communication . Many times the builder would not return any telephone calls or emails for a month at a time. Even with calls that would threaten calling my lawyer - Peter would
  still take his time to respond. We built in
  Windsong / Winterpark that required ARB approval. Our builder would go to the ARB with our request - get denied - and instead of bringing it back to us to
  rediscuss what may be approved - he would decide and just do it. Multiple instances we would meet with the company and request very specific things (i.e. Wall texture). We would request things such as 'smoothest wall
  possible' and he would choose a texture that he thought was smooth. At remediation meetings his cousin Andy would tell us the grading system a wall
  has. So clearly Peter did not even know there is a grading system. The problem is that the walls are finished at that point and there is very little a customer can do at that point. We would request a simple concept as 'my elderly grandparent cannot walk down stairs '
  and without approval - he build a $60,000 solution to this simple request. Communication is pretty key in a custom build. There are numerous other instances of this communication that lasted several years.
  
  3. Dishonesty. We would frequently catch him in blatant lies. We kept a diary of every communication and interaction during the build. I would suggest that in any custom build. Peter never wrote anything down - but with our emails and diary - it painted a picture of ineffectiveness, poor organization, lack of attention to detail that would plague any customer.
  
  4. To sum it up- it turner very sour at the end. We complained drastically and he acknowledged mistakes and admitted fault. We asked for
  Compensation for his mistakes - he wanted to take 13 k off the final owed amount but requested to
  a non disclosure and refused to honor any warranties of a new house. If he admitted fault - why did he want to silence us? Why wouldn't he honor
  Warranties of a build?? This non disclosure was not worth our silence. We elected to sever the relationship with him (Peter Gardner and Condev) rather than hold our tongues about this build. As a company he has many more resources against a simple customer . This behavior of builders (particularly) of Condev should not be tolerated by consumers. Consumers should demand more of this corruption and take control by sharing our story and preventing others from making the same mistake. Please be careful - I cannot tell you enough how terrible and awful this builder was.
